Customers today rely on search engines and mobile apps to find locations and information about businesses that they are interested in or require a service from, especially when it comes to local business in a specific target area. If they can’t find you, you are losing potential customers and business. South Florida is not only a popular tourist destination but has a wealth of local businesses that communicate and collaborate with each other. To enter this market you not only need to know your physically local competition, but your online one as well. The best and fastest way to gather such information is a local web search of your surrounding area or state. It is more important though that your business has a local online presence and is ranked favorably.
The “Key” Word
When we research a company to determine what’s required to boost their online presence, we use a tool like SEO GAP analysis and some manual declarations to assist us in our keyword and serp research related to their field. These can also be applied by the casual web searcher for more refined results. In any SEO campaign we first analyze what we have to overcome to get our client to the position they would like (The ranking and availability of their site on search engines.) When we opt to do it manually, we use search tags like the “Allin[request]:[search term]” prefix when searching on Google.
For example if we type in the search term “SEO Consultants in South Florida“, we get one set of results, a more broad range typically not specific to the key term “SEO Consultants” often including additional search terms loosely related to the subject. On the other hand if we type “allintitle: SEO Consultants in South Florida” into Google Search we get a different set of results, a more specific and refined selection according to the key search term. In the case of researching and determining a clients online standing, we would do the same for all the following prefix sets; allinanchor:, allintext:, allintitle:, allinurl:, cache:, define:, filetype:, id:, inanchor:, info:, intext:, intitle:, inurl:, phonebook:, related:, site:.
In concluding and gathering our research, we had better determine our clients standing and online presence rankings. The allin prefix search, is a powerful tool in evaluating the true value of a clients representative title, content anchor text etc
